We buy only the best quality meat and support our local butcher and have continued to do this since the day we started.

EDEN PIES

This Gumnut creation are the best pies ever, no wonder they win so many awards. 

We braise the beef overnight in a specialty beer created just for us by EDEN Brewery who are based across the road from our commercial kitchen. Thanks EDEN Brewery, you guys are amazing.

The braised beef is pulled apart and added to our incredible handmade Gumnut Smokey BBQ sauce, along with a variety of seasonal vegetables and then scooped into a savoury short crust pastry base and topped with our handmade butter puff pastry.

VEGETABLE PIES

A favourite as a meat free alternative.

Our savoury short crust pastry base holds in the flavoursome combination of mixed vegetables such as broccoli, cauliflower, eggplant, zucchini, capsicum, and sweet potatoes. All this combined in a seriously tasty tomato based Gumnut béchamel sauce with a hint of cheese. 

This yummy combination is topped off with sliced Sweet Potato and melted cheese.

BEEF, CHEESE & BACON PIES

Our Beef, Cheese and Bacon Pies are made similarly to our Beef Pies with added extras. The filling is a combination of hand diced beef and minced beef, bacon and cheese, all combined in a savoury short crust pastry base and topped off with butter puff pastry.
